They helped us in our IRS tax audit and our attorney was the best, he was extremely knowledgeable and knew exactly what we needed to do, we passed with flying colors. My son and I have had legal membership for over 10 years. Utilizing the law firm on several occasions. The most important feature was Brett’s Will and living will with a power of attorney for health and finances. He died unexpectedly. I had the membership for less than six months. I was pulled over for using my cell phone. I advised the officer that I used it to call for an emergency with my family. As the officer informed me why he pulled me over and took my driver’s license and registration, I remembered that I had 24/7 access to an attorney. So I called and connected with an attorney immediately. I handed the phone to the officer, who had a 5-minute conversation with my attorney. The officer said, “please proceed and have a nice day.” The attorney later called me & explained what he had said to the officer. I was amazed by the service! CDLP Program Is Instrumental In Saving CDL Texas ticket was dismissed based upon CDLP providing an attorney for my Commercial Driver ticket after I slammed into an Emergency Vehicle in the rain and got my CDL revoked. My CDLP Attorney appealed the case to a higher court and was able to get the ticket DISMISSED!

I hoisted a big weight off my shoulders today by finally finishing my taxes. I’d been putting them off because I was unfamiliar and intimidated by what I needed to do about our big fat windfall this year. Thanks to a lot of help last year from my (legal plan) attorneys, we had a $210,000.00 loan forgiven. So, consequently we received a 1099-C from the bank. When I first typed my income information into Turbotax, it said I OWED over $50,000!! I almost screamed! But then I calmed down and called my provider law firm and the tax attorney who called me back told me what form I needed to file and how to file it to exclude all that extra income. Today, I’m happy to report that with good advice from my (legal plan) attorneys, I didn’t have to pay ANY taxes on it and we get a huge refund after all! Saying ‘Thank You’ a thousand times doesn’t even come close to covering it!

For nine years we had been trying to resolve a legal issue. We’d even paid several attorneys, prior to signing up for our (legal plan), but none helped. The IRS claimed they did not receive our tax return during a particular year, so they filed one for my husband as a single individual with no dependents, which resulted in the IRS placing a $17,000 lien on our property and threatening to garnish his wages. We DID file. Over time, the IRS determined we did not owe taxes, and in fact, were due a refund, which they mailed us a check for along with a notice of release to stop the garnishment. However, they failed to notify our county, and for nine years we suffered from a $17,000 property lien that we could just not get removed from our record. Thanks to (our legal plan), not only has it been removed, but we have a ‘once in a lifetime’ story of the day the IRS actually apologized!
